Antony Hall born 1983
Chelsea College of Art 2002-2004
Raised in rural Sussex and now lives and works in a warehouse studio in Stamford Hill, Hackney.
Antony Hall’s work is often created from found objects and discarded materials. Everyday items are transformed through thoughtful craftsmanship and witty cross- references.
Influences – The Secessionists, Joseph Hoffman, European and North American Folk Art, Outsider Art, The Bloomsbury Group, early Alex Calder, Mathieu Mategot, Dr Seuss and other cartoon characters.
His work has been shown at The Foundry Gallery and Adamczewski Lewes,Woolff Gallery, London, Glasgow Art Fair, London Art Fair, Affordable Art Fair London and New York, Toronto International Art Fair, Art London.
